Black Bean Hummus

Recipe by Stephanie Baldwin. This recipe will be demonstrated at the 2014 "A Taste of Christmas" Festive Friday Eve on December 19th, 2014.

1 can black beans
1-2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup Cedar Creek Gewurztraminer
1/4 cup water
1 tsp jalapeno peppers -minced
1/4 bunch cilantro
Salt to taste
Juice of 1 lime

Drain the can of black beans and put into a food processor. Add the wine, water, peanut butter and garlic. Process until smooth. Scrape mixture into a bowl and stir in cilantro, jalapenos, salt and lime. Adjust seasonings. Serve with crackers, bread, pita...
